Do you ever feel like your life is too normal or mundane for you to be a ‘spiritual person’ or that the choices you’ve made in the past mean that you’ve missed the boat in terms of expressing yourself in a heartfelt way?

Sometimes I am deeply frustrated by the day to day ‘grind’ of the life I am currently choosing as a home educating mother.  Of course, the parent/child relationship (and any close relationship) is an incredible mindfulness practice as we are repeatedly shown our own triggers and unconscious behaviours - and given the opportunity to take responsibility for them. I often joke that my children are like really hard-assed Zen Masters.  As the famous Zen proverb goes: Before enlightenment; chop wood, carry water.  After enlightenment; chop wood, carry water.

Does that mean that there is no point to our human desires to create beauty and meaning in the world? Of course not.  Whilst non-attachment and mindfulness are useful practices, as is the realisation of non-duality…. the universe is expanding, and so our desire to expand and create is a natural drive.   You are here in a human body in a polarised world as a unique vibrational expression of the divine creative force.

So maybe the question isn’t whether to bother creating, but how to create from a place of authenticity and coherence rather than a place of ego-led beliefs about what we ‘should’ be doing.

I often examine my motives in working with kinesiology to see if I’m falling into the trap of wanting to ‘fix’ people in order to satisfy my own ego.  We are our own healers but sometimes it is helpful to be seen, to receive an energetic boost, to be assisted to see things from another perspective in order to trigger this process. 

We are in a time of earthly transition with much apparent conflict and revelation occurring in the world – the perfect time to express your courageous authenticity. If you are called to create from your heart, I would love to be part of the process of energetically assisting you to work with your own intuitive potential.
